for the Rev. Reuben A. Sheares II Scholarship

Advocate Health Care is now accepting applications for the Rev. Reuben A. Sheares, II, Scholarship.

The $2,500 scholarship is awarded to an outstanding African-American student who is a member of a UCC or ELCA church and who is pursuing a career in a health profession. The purpose of the scholarship is to nurture leaders in health care who will work out of their faith commitments and values.

The application deadline is Tuesday, April 1, 2008.
